The pop icon Shakira and Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique became our ideal couple as soon they made their relationship official. But it seems like our dream is going to break soon as the couple is soon to get separated.
As per a report by Barcelona-based new agency El Periodico, Shakira has decided to walk away from Pique after she caught him cheating on her with another woman. Testimony to the rumors is the fact that the couple is no longer living together under the same roof.
It has also been reported that Gerard Pique is staying alone at his bachelor pad in Calle Muntaner, Barcelona.
The rumors of the couple’s break started steaming the town after Shakira stopped posting pictures with Pique on her gram. The last time Shakira posted a photo with Gerard Pique was in February during Valentine's Day. It was a close-up selfie and the caption read, “Happy Valentine's Day.”
Shakira and Gerard Pique have been together for 12 years. They met at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. She sang the tournament theme song ‘Waka Waka' which became a global rage.
