Pop diva Britney Spears, who is no stranger to controversy for her racy social media updates, has raised alarm about her welfare once again after posting a nude picture on Instagram.
The "Gimme More" songstress was posing with her back to the camera, arms up over her head looking out of an enormous window, as can be seen in the photo posted on Instagram, according to People magazine.
Spears had on nothing but knee-high black boots, with her long blonde locks flowing down her back. A tiny rose emoji covered her private parts.
The post, which contained no caption, had comments disabled and earned more than 200,000 likes in just 14 hours since its posting.
In the recent past, Spears has been quite active on social media, regularly posting pictures and videos of herself singing, dancing, and posing in different attire.
The clip, posted on August 18th, was of specific interest and concern to fans. Spears sings and dances along to Rihanna's "Unfaithful" in a big, messy room at home with the partial British accent. Dogs could be seen scurrying around her, and what seemed to be dog feces could be seen on the ground.
Captioning the post, Spears stated: "Messing around with lighting and cleaning my house like no tomorrow," dressed in a red and white polka-dot crop top and pink shorts. While comments were turned off on Instagram, fans rushed to X to express concern for the singer, while others supported her actions.
