Bollywood actors Katrina Kaif (42) and Vicky Kaushal (37) have happily shared that they are having their first child. The couple posted a sweet Instagram message with a picture of the two of them, with Katrina holding her noticeably bulging baby bump.
“On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude,” they wrote on Instagram.
Fans and other celebrities swarmed the couple with congratulatory messages. Varun Dhawan posted, “My heart is full.” A fan wrote, “Chotti kat ya vicky arha ha (A tiny kat or vicky is about to arrive).” Another wrote, “Wow 😍 congratulations to my childhood crush ka.”
A fan said, “So happy for you both.” Another commented, “Be happy katu, u deserve it.”
Katrina had mentioned her marriage and family dreams long before she met Vicky Kaushal. In an interview with Cosmopolitan India in 2010, she had mentioned, "It would be different for different people. But for me, it’s very important. I belong to that mindset where having a husband and children are very important. I dream of being married and having kids and living happily ever after. That’s me."
There had been speculations regarding Katrina's pregnancy recently when a picture from an ad photo shoot where she was seen with a prominent baby bump went viral on the internet.
Katrina and Vicky got hitched in a lavish wedding ceremony at the Six Senses Resort, Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, in 2021. Even though the couple was romantically involved off-screen, they never once shared screen space together in a movie.
