Actress Mouni Roy posted a heartfelt tribute to her husband Suraj Nambiar, mentioning that her happiest days started the day they first met.
In a post on Instagram, Mouni shared a series of romantic pictures from their travels and mentioned that she loves Suraj unconditionally and cannot explain it.
"Eight years near & errrr battling, dunno what I'm typing. I don't know coz my love for you cannot be explained, In best times or worst, Come destruction or bliss, in disease and in health. You annoy me, come do not annoy me …," she wrote.
She continued to celebrate his virtues and idiosyncrasies, writing, "Happy birthday hubby P.S. perfectly splendid or perfectly disastrous You can't …! Ok bye. Happy birthday x."
Mouni and Suraj, a Dubai-based Malayali businessman, married in 2022 after dating for three years, commemorating their wedding with traditional Bengali and Malayali rituals in Panaji, Goa.
At work, the latest Mouni project is *Salakaar*, a spy thriller based on real events that delves into a world where loyalty is money, silence is survival, and one man's past mission might change a nation's fate.
Directed by Faruk Kabir, the show also features Naveen Kasturia, Mukesh Rishi, Purnendu Bhattacharya, Ashwath Bhatt, and Surya Sharma, and plays out in two timelines—1978 and 2025.
Explaining her character, Mouni stated, "This is one of the most emotional things I've ever done. My character isn't only brave, but she's complicated, conflicted, and incredibly resilient. She works in a high-risk space, but she also brings her personal trauma and history along with every choice. The trailer only provides a glimpse at the layered storytelling, and I feel honored to be a part of a project that's willing to go deeper."
Salakaar is now live on JioHotstar and has been produced by Sphereorigins and Mahir Films.
