Actor couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were spotted spending some quality time together in Mumbai on Tuesday, stepping out for a quiet lunch date as they await the arrival of their second child.
The pair kept the outing low-key, visiting a popular restaurant known for its benne dosas. Videos circulating on social media show the couple arriving and leaving the eatery under tight security.
In one of the clips, Deepika and Ranveer can be seen exiting the restaurant after their meal. Both chose relaxed outfits for the outing, with Deepika dressed in a comfortable co-ord set, while Ranveer opted for a T-shirt paired with black pants. They also wore face masks as they headed to their car.
The videos further show members of Deepika's security team requesting bystanders not to record the couple while they were leaving the restaurant.
This is not the first time the actors have been seen at Benne. The couple had earlier visited the restaurant to celebrate the success of Ranveer's Dhurandhar 2.
That visit drew attention after the café's official Instagram account shared a selfie featuring Deepika and Ranveer inside the restaurant. The photograph also included Ranveer's father, Jagjit Singh Bhavnani, along with members of the restaurant staff, all smiling for the camera. The café captioned the post: "Something and all is happening pt.2 #benne #chowpatty"
Earlier this year, Deepika and Ranveer announced through a joint Instagram post that they were expecting their second child. The post featured their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, holding a pregnancy test displaying two pink lines, while the couple's hands gently held her. Deepika accompanied the announcement with only evil eye emojis.
Deepika and Ranveer married in Italy in 2018 in ceremonies that celebrated both their Konkani and Sindhi traditions. They welcomed their first child, Dua, in September 2024.
Professionally, Deepika is preparing for the release of King alongside Shah Rukh Khan and is also working on Raaka, directed by Atlee and produced by Sun Pictures, in which she stars opposite Allu Arjun. The film is slated for release in 2027.
Ranveer was last seen in Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar The Revenge and has recently been making headlines over his reported rift with Farhan Akhtar regarding Don 3.
