Bollywood's favorite couple, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, have welcomed their first child—a baby girl with joy.
The pair announced the heartwarming news to fans with a tearful Instagram post, revealing how the birth of their daughter changed their lives.
Sidharth shared a pink-themed announcement on the site on behalf of himself and Kiara, which said:
"Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a Baby Girl. KIARA & SIDHARTH"
With the message, Sidharth included a heart emoji, a namaste, and an evil eye charm, which represent love, thanks, and protection.
The buzz around the baby’s birth first emerged on July 15, just weeks before Kiara’s expected due date in August. Speculation intensified after the couple was spotted visiting a maternity clinic recently, sparking concerns for the mother and baby’s well-being.
Kiara was admitted to H. N. Reliance Hospital in Mumbai’s Girgaon area, where she delivered their daughter.
The pregnancy was initially announced in February this year when the pair uploaded a picture of themselves holding a pair of baby socks with the following caption: "The greatest gift of our lives. Coming soon".
In May, Kiara captured the headlines once again with her glowing baby bump appearance at the 2025 MET Gala in New York. Looking breathtakingly beautiful in a breathtaking outfit designed by award-winning designer Gaurav Gupta, she sported a chiseled golden breastplate molded into two hearts, complemented by a flowing white cape. Posting the moment on Instagram, she captioned: "Mama's first Monday in May."
Sidharth reposted the photos with the caption: "Heart emoji both brave hearts."
The pair, who took their vows in a fairytale wedding last February 2023 after dating for years, have always struck a balance between keeping their private lives private and every now and then showing glimpses of their intimate lives.
Their fans naturally love their scarce but loving moments on social media. Kiara only recently melted hearts with a cute posting where she bonded over cuddling with puppies, radiating expectant and joyous smiles.
