The Indian nightingale Lata Mangeshkar took her last breath on Sunday, 6 February 2022, and left a void in the hearts of all of us. Some of her fans even prayed for her rebirth but in one of her old interviews she revealed that she didn’t want to be reborn and especially as Lata Mangeshkar.

Lata Mangeshkar was one of the most shining stars of the country who gave her voice in more than 30,000 songs and ruled the music industry for more than 8 decades. She was cremated at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park with full state honors on Sunday evening. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was among those who paid their respects to the singer.
