Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday asserted that Operation Sindoor has communicated a very clear message to the world about threatened. "Operation Sindoor has established that there is no place where enemies and terrorists can take shelter if they attack India," Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in an address during a function organised to pay homage to the great Chola emperor Rajendra Chola.
Addressing the Aadi Thiruvathirai festival in Tamil Nadu, Modi emphasized the cultural richness of the Chola dynasty, appreciating their attempt to unite disparate regions through common heritage and values. He further noted that the ethos of cultural integration being promoted by the Cholas is being continued by his government through programs like the Kashi-Tamil Sangamam, Saurashtra Tamil Sangamam, and the ceremonial installation of the Sengol in the new Parliament building.
Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister visited the ancient Gangaikonda Cholapuram temple, a monument constructed by Rajendra Chola I, widely known as a representation of the dynasty's grandeur of architecture and culture.
Modi, a member of the Lok Sabha from Varanasi, also remembered the strong emotional and spiritual bonding between North and South India. He referred to the holy Ganga river as a symbol of unity linking Kashi with Tamil Nadu and consolidating the cultural bridge between the two regions.
