PMO directs health ministry to provide 150 ventilators to SPCCC in Delhi

The facility was provided following request of Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Director General S.S. Deswal who had sought allocation of 150 ventilators for addressing to the needs of critical patients at the SPCCC. There is a ward of 500 oxygen beds at the SPCCC where around 400 Covid-19 patients are presently admitted.
Hospitals in Delhi running dangerously low on oxygen

Sant Parmanand Hospital appealed to the state and central governments to help procure oxygen immediately to avert an imminent crisis. On Saturday afternoon, eight Covid-19 patients, including a doctor, died at Delhi's Batra Hospital due to shortage of medical oxygen at the facility.

Counting for by-polls for three seats in Rajasthan, namely, Rajsamand, Sahada and Sujangarh will be held on Sunday amid strict Covid guidelines, said chief electoral officer Pravin Gupta. People return empty handed after standing in day long queue for Remdesivir

The long queues in front of the Kilpauk Medical College starts early at 5 a.m. but the two counters open only at 9 a.m. and daily around 500 people are provided the medicines, however more than 2,500 people reach the counters for the drug, that is around five times the quantity of the medicine available. This is creating issues with people even threatening with road blockade.
More than 79L doses available with states, UTs

The ministry said that so far provided nearly 16.37 crore vaccine doses (16,37,62,300) to the states and UTs free of cost and as of 8 a.m. on Saturday the total consumption including wastage is 15,58,48,782 doses.
Koregaon-Bhima: NIA questions laptop hacking charge by US firm
