Indian Army gears up for harsh winter along border with China
To ensure that all logistic supports are provided in real time, Indian Air Force and Indian Army carried out a joint airlift exercise, 'Op Hercules' on November 15. It aimed to strengthen the logistics supply in the Northern sector and to augment winter stocking in the operational areas.

Delhi reports 44 new Covid cases; no death
No death, however, has been reported in the last two days in Delhi. The city's death toll stands at 25,095 while the death rate stands at 1.74 per cent. The Covid infection rate in the national capital has come down to 0.07 per cent. The active cases in the city stand at 346, as per the latest health bulletin.
Covid: Fully jabbed surpasses partially ones for 1st time
The country has in total administered 1,13,68,79,685 vaccines as per 7 a.m. provisional reports, with the administration of 67,82,042 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours. It has been achieved through 1,16,73,459 sessions out of which, 75,57,24,081 doses were administered as first dose and 38,11,55,604 doses were administered as second dose.
Doctors at Delhi's makeshift Covid care facility unpaid for 4 months
Junior Resident Doctor Manu Garg said, "This Covid facility under GTB hospital started in March 2021. For the last four months, we are not getting our salaries. The accounts department always says 'ask the consultants'. They say the file has not been passed by the Health Ministry."

"We appoint Rakesh Kumar Jain (retired judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court) to ensure absolute impartiality in the investigation of the case," a bench headed by Chief Justice N.V. Ramana said. The Supreme Court also said that the SIT will continue to investigate the case and ordered the Uttar Pradesh government to include three senior IPS officers, including a female officer Padmaja Chauhan, present IG of Uttar Pradesh In the SIT. The SIT will be supervised by Justice Jain. The top court said it will list the matter after the charge sheet is filed in the case.
Covid-19 Update: India records 10,197 new cases, 301 deaths on Tuesday
The new fatalities have taken the total covid death toll to 4,64,153. India's recovery rate stands at 98.28 per cent, the highest since March 2020. In addition to this, the recovery of 12,134 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally of recovered to 3,38,73,890.

The mercury level also dropped in the other parts of the valley as Pahalgam had the minimum temperature of minus 4.7 while Gulmarg recorded minus 2.0, the report revealed. Leh town of Ladakh recorded minus 10.7 and Kargil had minus 8.1, it added.
