Reports on vandalizing of mosque in Tripura fake: MHA
"News reports that have been circulating that a mosque in Kakraban area of Gomati district in Tripura has been damaged and vandalized. These news reports are fake and are a complete misrepresentation of facts," the MHA said. The mosque in Dargabazar area of Kakraban has not been damaged and the Tripura Police in Gomati district is working to maintain peace and tranquillity.

"Starting Monday, physical classes in schools would be shut for a week. Virtual classes would continue for the students in the meantime. Delhi records 56 Covid cases; no death
The overall death toll from the coronavirus in Delhi stands at 25,093 with the Covid-19 positivity rate standing at 4.8 per cent. The national capital, which had not registered a single Covid fatality for over 20 consecutive days starting October 22, recorded two deaths on Friday. There have only been four deaths in the past 30 days. The Covid infection rate in the national capital stands at 0.10 per cent -- a dip from 0.12 per cent on Friday.
Gadchiroli: 10 Maoists killed in gun-battle with police
The gun-battle which started in the early hours of Saturday, was continuing till afternoon with at least 10 fatalities among the Maoists, in the Kolgut-Danat jungles, an official said. As per initial reports received at the Gadchiroli district headquarters, the encounter was with a Dalam of the banned CPI(Maoist) and commandos of the crack C-60 unit of the Anti Naxal Operations.
Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai among world's top 10 polluted cities
While Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) at 556 made it to the top of the list, Kolkata and Mumbai recorded an AQI of 177 and 169, respectively, at fourth and sixth position, on the list. The cities with the worst AQI indices also include Lahore, in Pakistan, and Chengdu, in China. A real-time air quality information platform -- IQAir is also a technology partner of the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP).

In his response, Mehra said the tower is working and pointed out that on September 30 the Air Quality Index (AQI) was 84 or 'satisfactory'.
