"Footfall strongly picked up on this third Monday of Sawan," said Mishra. "For most of the devotees from southern states where Sawan begins later, this was their first Somwar. Considering that, we planned early barricading, fitted German hangars, erected medical booths, and distributed ORS and glucose to enable pilgrims to cope with the crowd."

Additional Commissioner of Police Ishan Soni said that there were strong security protocols, such as aerial monitoring using drones. "We coordinated closely with local vendors and other stakeholders to ensure that all arrangements were smooth," he further added.
