The final carries an additional generational storyline as 39-year-old Lionel Messi prepares to go up against 19-year-old Lamine Yamal in their first competitive meeting.

The matchup has attracted global attention, further amplified by renewed interest in a 2008 charity photoshoot at Camp Nou, where a 20-year-old Messi was photographed with a baby Yamal in a bathtub. The image has since become one of the most recognisable moments in football history.
