Infinix on July 11, 2025, unveiled its new budget 5G phone—the Hot 60 5G+—aimed at entry-level customers in India.
The phone comes equipped with a One Tap AI button, which is a customizable shortcut to launch apps or Google's Circle to Search feature.
The button also acts as a launcher for the built-in AI assistant within the phone to make it easier for users to interact.
The Hot 60 5G+ boasts a 6.7-inch HD+ display that has a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 700 nits, providing smooth images and sufficient readability in sunlight. It has an IP64 rating, which provides simple protection against dust and splashes.
Under the hood, the smartphone is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset, supported by 6GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB internal storage. It is powered by XOS 15, built on Android 15, to deliver the latest software features to the budget segment.
When it comes to cameras, the Hot 60 5G+ features a 50MP primary rear camera for high-resolution images and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calling.
Charging the device is a 5,200mAh battery, accompanied by an 18W charger in the box. The device also features reverse charging and can be used as a power bank when needed.
Infinix has launched the Hot 60 5G+ for ₹9,999 on launch day, positioning it as a very aggressive offering in the 5G budget space. The device comes in three colors—Shadow Blue, Tundra Green, and Sleek Black—with sales opening from July 17 on Flipkart and in a few retail stores.
