Samsung has finally launched its new mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy F36 5G, in India on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. The phone is for budget-conscious consumers who desire long-term software support along with feature-rich specs and intelligent AI capabilities.
The Galaxy F36 5G introduces Circle to Search and Gemini Live to consumers, plus a stellar promise from Samsung: six generations of Android OS updates and six years of security updates, guaranteeing longer usability for the future.
The phone comes with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display that offers silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate support. It's durable with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection and has a slim 7.7mm design. A leather finish on the back gives it a premium look, available in Luxe Violet, Coral Red, and Onyx Black colors.
Internally, Galaxy F36 5G is powered by Samsung's 5nm Exynos 1380 processor, accompanied by up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. It arrives with One UI 7, which is based on Android 15. There is a vapor cooling chamber to handle heat effectively during heavy usage.
Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery, with 25W fast charging support, delivering long usage on a single battery cycle.
The phone is equipped with a 50MP primary rear camera with OIS for stable images and can record 4K video from rear and front cameras. AI-based features such as Object Eraser, Image Clipper, and Edit Suggestions make photography more exciting. Other software features are Voice Focus to reduce background noise during calls and Quick Share to easily transfer files.
Samsung has included Knox Vault for hardware security, as well as facial recognition and software safeguards, so the F36 5G is a secure option for data-savvy users.
The Galaxy F36 5G goes on sale exclusively on Flipkart beginning July 29. Prices for the models are as follows:
