‘Never Felt Better In My Life’: US President Responds to Viral ‘Trump is Dead’ Rumors

DC Draino countered, "Joe Biden would go multiple days at a time without any public appearances and the media would say he's "sharp" and "top of his game".

US President Donald Trump on Monday rejected social media rumors of his supposed health problems, declaring in a Truth Social message that he has "never felt better" in his life. He made the response after conservative commentator DC Draino denounced what he referred to as "comical double standards" in the reporting by the media.

Trump responded directly, saying in writing: "NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE," and also asserting that Washington, D.C., had become a "crime-free zone."

Speculation about Trump's health has been going on for weeks, especially after the hashtag "TrumpIsDead" started trending on X. The buzz became more heated when the White House had a blank schedule released last week. Trump posted a picture of him playing golf at the weekend to dispel the rumors, although some users online called the photo out as a fabrication.

The debate was further fueled when Vice President JD Vance added that he was prepared to fill in if there were a "terrible tragedy." Although emphasizing Trump's endurance and working ability, Vance admitted that anything can happen.

"He's the last person making phone calls at night, and he's the first person who wakes up and the first person making phone calls in the morning. Yes, terrible tragedies happen. But I feel very confident the president of the United States is in good shape, is going to serve out the remainder of his term and do great things for the American people. And if, God forbid, there's a terrible tragedy, I can't think of better on-the-job training than what I've gotten over the last 200 days," Vance said to USA Today.

Adding to the furor, comments from The Simpsons creator Matt Groening re-emerged on the internet. Groening cracked a joke this July about the series' longevity, stating, "No, there's no end in sight. We're going to keep going. We're going to go until somebody dies. When you-know-who dies, The Simpsons predicts that there will be dancing in the streets. Except President (J D) Vance will ban dancing,"

Health issues about Trump emerged for the first time earlier in the year when cameras caught a prominent bruise on the back of his hand. Later, more marks appeared on his palm, which his staff allegedly attempted to cover up with makeup.

The White House subsequently explained these bruises as the result of repeated handshaking and daily aspirin intake. White House physician Dr. Sean Barbaella, in a letter, stated that the marks were "is consistent with minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin, which is taken as part of a standard cardiovascular prevention regimen."

Pictures of swelling in Trump's leg also went viral online. In July, officials confirmed that President Donald Trump, 79, has chronic venous insufficiency, a vein condition that causes leg swelling.
