"Was Preventable If...": Team Trump Responds to Beheading of Indian Man in the US

On X, DHS added, "This despicable monster beheaded a man in front of his wife and child and then went on to kick the victim's head on the ground. This heinous, brutal murder of a victim at a motel by Yordanis Cobos-Martinez was totally avoidable if this criminal illegal alien was not deported into our nation by the Biden Administration, as Cuba wouldn't accept him."

Yordanis Cobos Martinez, a 37-year-old illegal alien in the US charged with murdering Indian motel owner Chandra Nagamalliah in Dallas, Texas, was last week facing deportation. Condemning the gruesome beheading of Indian citizen Chandra Nagamalliah, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said the gruesome murder could have been prevented if the earlier Joe Biden administration had not granted Cuban citizen Yordanis Cobos Martinez permission to stay in the country.

The DHS used the case of Martinez as justification for the Trump administration's harsher immigration policies, further stating, "This is precisely why we are deporting criminal illegal aliens to third countries."

It also warned, "President Trump and Secretary Kristi Noem are no longer permitting barbaric criminals to illegally stay in America forever. If you enter our nation illegally, you may end up in Eswatini, Uganda, South Sudan, or Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo (CECOT)."

Chandra Nagamalliah's Beheading

September 10, Martinez, who worked at the Samuell Boulevard Downtown Suites motel in Dallas, brutally murdered motel manager Nagamalliah, beheading him and placing his head in a trash can. Martinez was apprehended and indicted for capital murder and is currently in custody at Dallas County Jail.

The Trump administration reacted one day after President Trump denounced the gruesome murder, vowing to prosecute Martinez to "the fullest extent of the law" by indicting him with "murder in the first degree." Trump also vowed to make "America safe again" and said his administration will not be "soft" on illegal "immigrant criminals."

Last week, a video shot by CCTV at the Downtown Suites motel went viral, depicting Martinez—a man with a violent criminal past and recently released from custody—launching a machete attack on Nagamalliah in front of his wife and 18-year-old son.

The video showed Martinez pursuing the victim and continuing the attack until Nagamalliah was beheaded. He then kicked the head into the parking lot of the motel before putting it in a dumpster. On Friday, DHS confirmed that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has begun the process for the attacker's "removal" from the US.
