A joint inspection of the manufacturer's Noida facility was carried out by the teams of the Uttar Pradesh Drug Control Department and CDSCO. The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) is in contact with the national drug regulator of Uzbekistan regarding the matter. "Immediately on receipt of the information, joint inspection of the NOIDA facility of the manufacturer, Marion Biotech, was carried out by UP Drug Control and CDSCO team and further action as appropriate would be initiated based on the inspection report," said the Union health ministry on Thursday.
Indian Army's first ever two-storey 3D printed dwelling unit

The Army inaugurated such a unit in Ahmedabad. It is the first 3D Printed House for Indian soldiers and located at Ahmedabad Cantt. The Army said on Thursday that the technique utilises a concrete 3D printer that accepts a computerised three-dimensional design and fabricates a 3D structure in a layer-by-layer manner by extruding a specialised type of concrete specifically designed for the purpose. This unique house has ground plus one configuration. The dwelling unit has been constructed by the Military Engineering Services (MES) in collaboration with MiCoB Pvt Ltd incorporating the latest 3D Rapid Construction Technology, the Indian Army officials said.
India logs 268 fresh Covid cases in last 24 hrs

The active caseload stands at 3,552 cases, accounting for 0.01 per cent of the country's total positive cases. The weekly positive rate currently stands at 0.17 per cent, while the daily positive rate stands at 0.11 per cent. The recovery of 182 patients in the last 24 hours took the cumulative tally to 4,41,43,665. Consequently, India's recovery rate stands at 98.80 per cent.
Delhi air quality dips to very poor category

The AQI at Dhirpur entered into a severe category with PM 2.5 at 324, under a 'very poor' category. Experts said that the air quality may also remain in a very poor category on Friday. The AQI between zero and 50 is considered good, 51 and 100 satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 and 300 poor, 301 and 400 very poor, and 401 and 500 severe. In Pusa, the AQI recorded PM 2.5 at 318 very poor category.
39 international travelers test Covid positive at airports across country

The random testing for Covid infection at airports was started on December 24. In the last three days, a total of 498 international travelers have been screened at different airports. Out of that, 39 have tested positive and all the samples have been sent for genome sequencing, a source said on Wednesday.
