India, Hungary discuss Ukraine & engagement with EU
Hungry's Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, who is on a day's visit to Delhi, met Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar here. After the meeting, Jaishankar said, "Valued the assessment of the Ukraine conflict and its knock-on effects in different domains. Also acknowledged Hungary's steadfast commitment to an expanded Indian engagement with the European Union."

India logs 2,628 fresh Covid cases, 18 deaths
In the same period, 18 Covid fatalities were logged taking the nationwide death toll to 5,24,525. Meanwhile, the active caseload was also pegged at 15,414, accounting for 0.04 per cent of the country's total positive cases. The recovery of 2,167 patients in the last 24 hours took the cumulative tally to 4,26,04,881. Consequently, India's recovery rate stands at 98.75 per cent.
