Congress throttled democracy in 1975: PM Modi in Rajya Sabha

Replying to the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the President's address in the Rajya Sabha, PM Modi said contrary to Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge's claim that the Congress laid the foundation of the country and the BJP only hoisted its flag on it, the grand old party had in reality "throttled" democracy in 1975.
LCA Tejas set to debut at Singapore Air Show

India’s indigenously produced light combat aircraft (LCA) fighter jet Tejas will display its flying prowess for the first time at the Singapore Airshow 2022. The airshow, organized by Experia Events, will be held between 15th and 18th February.For the itinerary, the airshow will have eight flying displays as well as flypasts. The birds on display will be from the Air Forces of four countries and a couple of commercial companies.
KFC India issues apology for Pakistani counterpart’s social media post on Kashmir

“You never left our thoughts and we hope that the coming years bring peace to you!” the post on Facebook from KFC Pakistan handle read. “Kashmir Belongs To The Kashmiris,” the picture captioned. It was posted on 5th February, which is observed as ‘Kashmir Day’. This evoked protests from Indian netizens who expressed their anger by trending #BoycottKFC on twitter. The post was deleted after it went viral.  
PM Modi cites Nehru in response to oppn on inflation

"The inflation was in two digits before we came to power in 2014. It was the Congress led UPA government's time when people of this country suffered a lot due to skyrocketing prices. The Congress government has such policies that they themselve accepted that inflation couldn't be curbed or tamed. The poll results also show that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is on its way to becoming a serious player in Goa politics. According to the results of the poll, the BJP is projected to win between 14 to 18 seats, well short of the majority mark of 21 seats in the Goa assembly which has 40 seats.
