In Punjab, the AAP is now touching the majority mark according to the final results. Uttarakhand seems too close to call with the BJP and the Congress literally neck and neck in the race.

Lata Mangeshkar travelled across cities in India in Indian Air Force (IAF) planes to mobilize support in support of Bangladesh’s Liberation war in 1971 as well as raise funds for the Bengali refugees who had crossed over during the war, as per a report by The Daily Star. “She sang the song "O Dadabhai", composed by Salil Chowdhury for the film "Raktakto Bangla", which was released in December 1972. It is the only song sung by Lata Mangeshkar in Bangladeshi films.

The sample sizes for each country varies. PM Modi’s approval rating currently stands at 72 percent. Disapproval rating is 21 percent with 7 percent having no opinion.

Acid as weapon, Pak's another gift to Kashmir

Till 1990, when the Pakistan-sponsored insurgency engulfed Kashmir, acid attacks were not even heard of in the land of Sufi saints and rishis. Soon after the gun-totting militants appeared in the Valley, they used acid as a weapon to terrify fairer sex. In the beginning, acid was thrown on women to make them wear a veil and later on it was used as a tool to confine them within the four walls of their homes. Pakistan along with a gun also gifted acid as a weapon to people of Kashmir.
Centre to resume full office attendance 'without any exemption' from Feb 7

This is in supercession of the earlier circular according to which the 50 per cent office attendance rule had been extended till February 15. But, after obtaining inputs from the relevant quarters and review of the situation, a fresh Office Memorandum has been issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) informing that all the employees at all levels, without any exemption, will report to office from Monday.

20 terrorists, 9 Pak security personnel killed in massive Balochistan attack

In Panjgur, the security forces had repulsed the terrorist attack after an intense exchange of fire during which some terrorists fled the area. The military added that four fleeing terrorists were killed while as many terrorists were encircled the next day by the security forces. Five soldiers including a junior commissioned officer, were killed while six soldiers have been injured during the follow-up operations in Panjgur lasting 72 hours.
