No date decided yet for next India-China Corps Commander-level talks: MEA
"As you know that the senior Commander-level talks between India and China were held last month. Both sides mutually agreed for the resolution of all the issues of conflict between the two nations as early as possible and go ahead to take initiatives to maintain peace along the LAC. They also talked about ways to strengthen the bilateral relations between India and China," said Arindam Bagchi, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs.
PM to inaugurate 'Statue of Equality' on Hyderabad visit
The function will coincide with the Hindu festival of Basant Panchami that marks the preparation for the arrival of spring. India taking up issues of pending salaries in Gulf countries
Responding to a question about loss of wages of Indians working abroad, the Minister said that the data of pending salaries was not available but he took up the matter with Gulf countries. "Would like to assure that employment is retained, wages are paid, and welfare is ensured," Jaishankar said. He also said that the government's objective is to get as many workers as possible back to work and he has been in touch with the concerned authorities and also through Ambassadors in the Gulf countries.
India already facing trailers of future wars: Army Chief
Speaking at Pragyan Conclave at the Centre for Land Warfare Studies in Delhi about future wars, Gen Naravne said, "We are already witnessing 'trailers' of future conflicts. They are being enacted daily on the information battlefield, in the networks and cyber space. They are also being played along, our yet unsettled and active borders." He said that It is for us to 'visualise', the battlefield contours of tomorrow, based on these 'trailers'.
Chandrayaan-3 scheduled for launch in August 2022, Lok Sabha told
"Based on the learnings from Chandrayaan-2 and suggestions made by the national level experts, the realisation of Chandrayaan-3 is in progress. Many related hardware and their special tests are successfully completed, and the launch is scheduled for August 2022," Union Minister for Space Dr Jitendra Singh said in reply to a written question.

US senator slams China for selecting PLA officer involved in Galwan clash as Winter Olympics torchbearer
US senator Jim Risch has criticized China’s controversial decision to select PLA’s regiment commander Qi Fabao to carry the 2020 Winters Olympics torch at the relay in Beijing. Fabao was one of the PLA officers who was involved in the deadly 2020 Galwan clashes in which 20 Indian Army soldiers laid down their lives. He also criticized China’s treatment of Uyghur Muslims allegedly being undertaken by Fabao’s military command.
Rafale-M tested for deployment on India's indigenous aircraft carrier INS Vikrant
Rafale-M underwent exhaustive and extensive trials at the 283-metre mocked-up ski-jump facility at the station. “Tests were done to check its (Rafale-Marine's) take-off (capability) from the deck of your (India's) carrier and it has done very well,” said French Ambassador to India Emmanuel Lenain. These tests were undertaken as part of the navy’s scouting for fighter jets which will serve India’s first indigenous aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant.
