Delhi reports 1,604 Covid cases; positivity rate falls to 2.87%

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday reminded Congress leader Rahul Gandhi that the Chinese Army had lost 38-50 soldiers in the 2020 Galwan valley clashes, as reported by an Australian newspaper. He said this in response to Rahul Gandhi's recent speech in Lok Sabha in which he had alleged that India lost more soldiers during Galwan valley clash than China.
China building Pangong bridge in area occupied since 1962: Govt tells Parliament
“The government has taken note of a bridge being constructed by China on Pangong Lake. This bridge is being constructed in areas that have continued to be under the illegal occupation of China since 1962. The Government of India has never accepted this illegal occupation,” Minister of state for external affairs V. Murleedharan said in the Lok Sabha. Govt to ensure e-passport's data protection with multi-layered security features
The External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, while responding to questions raised by MPs in the Lower House, said the purpose to issue such e-passport is to make travel easier and smoother, and also to ensure the better security of the data of the passport holder. "The data will be put into a chip through a personalization process and it will require a specialized printer to print it. There will be digital keys that will ensure the safety and security of the data like digital signatures," he said.
