Delhi HC asks Moitra to submit video of incident with 'thief' remarks against Zee News
While listing the matter for March 2, Justice Mukta Gupta also asked Moitra to submit a copy of her defamation case. Senior advocate Kapil Sibal, who appeared on behalf of Moitra, argued that the channel reporter harassed her in the Parliament premises, repeatedly called her a thief, and shoved a mike in her face. The words "chor (thief)" uttered by his client was nothing but a reaction in the heat of the moment and it cannot be termed as defamatory, he argued.
Vyapam scam: CBI Court sentences six to 5 yrs jail
The six convicted are identified as impersonators Mohd. Imran, and Rajesh Prasad, candidates Deepak Prajapati, and Jetendra Kumar Rajput, and middlemen Suresh Kumar Patel and Vedratan. The agency had registered the case against the accused on the allegations of impersonation in Pre Medical Test (PMT-2010) at Govt. PG College, Guna (Madhya Pradesh) which was conducted by Vyapam.
Not a good thing: RSS on PM's security breach in Punjab

PM's security breach: Centre issues show cause notice to Bathinda SSP
On Wednesday, the Prime Minister's rally in Ferozepur had to be cancelled due to a security lapse after some protesters blocked a route and forced Modi's convoy to spend about 15-20 minutes on a flyover. The Prime Minister was enroute the National Martyrs Memorial at Hussainiwala when the incident happened. Meanwhile, an MHA team investigating the breach of security reached the spot on Friday to find out the reasons that led to the Prime Minister's cavalcade remaining stranded on the flyover for 15-20 minutes.
PM security breach: SC directs Punjab HC Registrar General to preserve all records
A bench headed by Chief Justice N.V. Ramana and comprising Justices Surya Kant and Hima Kohli said: "We deem it appropriate for the time being to direct the Registrar General, Punjab and Haryana High Court to secure and preserve the records relating to the Prime Minister's scheduled tour of Punjab on January 5, 2022". The top court also asked the state and Central committees to refrain from conducting inquiries till Monday.

The National Youth Festival which was to be held from January 12-16 to mark the 75th anniversary of Indian independence and birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, will now be held in the virtual mode for three days only. FIR lodged against Jawed Habib
Following this, another video of the woman, Pooja Gupta, narrating the incident also went viral. The woman explained her displeasure over the incident and said she would never get a haircut from Habib again. The video was of a seminar conducted by the hairstylist on January 3.
