NIA likely to takeover Kashmir civilian killings probe
According to sources, the investigation in these killings indicate a definite pattern leading to the terror angle, therefore, the investigation may be assigned to the national anti-terror probe agency. They also said that this issue was discussed threadbare in the National Security Strategy Conference held on Monday.

The CBI asked court for the death penalty to the self-claimed godman under the section 302 of Indian penal code in the murder case of Ranjit Singh, the former security manager. Ram Raheem, appearing via video conferencing from Rohtak Jail, where he is serving his sentence in two cases of rapes and a murder case, pleaded for mercy. The other 4 accused in this case who got the punishment of life imprisonment were Krishan Lal, Jasbir Singh, Avtar Singh, and Sabdil, while the one accused in the case had already passed away in October 2020.
Delhi records first death due to dengue in 2021
A total of 720 dengue cases so far has been recorded, out of which 382 dengue cases have been reported in the month till October 16, according to SDMC reports. 142 malaria cases and 69 chikungunya cases have also been reported till now in 2021, according to these reports.
