Sharing his letter with the public, Sidhu talked mainly about justice in sacrilege cases, state's drugs menace, agricultural issues, employment opportunities, sand mining, and welfare of backward classes in the letter dated October 15.

In the past 24 hours, 19,788 people recovered from the highly contagious virus, taking the total recovery count to 3,34,19,749, accounting for 98.10 per cent of the case tally.

According to the data on Saturday evening, the AQI in Agra turned to 274 from 214 within 24 hours, in Baghpat district of West Uttar Pradesh the AQI moved to 307 from 176, in Bulandshahr, it went from 202 to 299. Ghaziabad in the NCR region recorded AQI of 349 from 235 within 24 hours. The higher the AQI value, the more polluted the air.
