Akhilesh to begin 'Samjwadi vijay yatra' today

"After starting from the Ganga bridge, the yatra will take the Naubasta route to reach Neyveli Lignite Power station in Ghatampur and then head for Hamirpur by Tuesday evening. The next morning, the yatra will start at 9.30 a.m. from Hamirpur to reach Kalpi in Jalaun and end at Mati in Kanpur Dehat," said party spokesman, Rajendra Chaudhary. On Monday, Akhilesh sought blessings from his father Mulayam Singh Yadav in Delhi.
NCB's Sameer Wankhede alleges 'surveillance' by cops, files complaint

Wankhede said on Monday that he has lodged complaint with Oshiwara Police in this regard, however he did not provide details.He has claimed that since the past couple of days he and his men are allegedly under unauthorised 'surveillance' by some persons in plain clothes. However, Mumbai Police did not release any information in the development.
3 terrorists killed in encounter in J&K's Shopian

"Three terrorists of LeT (TRF) killed. Identification being ascertained. Incriminating materials including arms and ammunition recovered. Search going on," police said. Earlier the firefight between terrorists and security forces took place after a joint team of the police and the army cordoned off the area and launched a search operation on the basis of specific information about presence of terrorists.
LeT terrorist behind street hawker killing gunned down in Shopian encounter

"Out of three killed terrorists, one terrorist has been identified as Mukhtar Shah of Ganderbal, who shifted to Shopian after killing one street hawker Virendra Paswan of Bihar," a tweet by Kashmir police quoting IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said. Three LeT terrorists were killed in an encounter that started between terrorists and security forces at Tulran Imamsahab area in South Kashmir's Shopian district on Monday evening.
Tamil diaspora in Sri Lanka concerned about Chinese investments

These groups are worried that the government of India is not proactively involved in the affairs of Sri Lankan Tamils and that the Chinese are using this opportunity to increase their investments in Sri Lanka whose government has strongly opposed any Chinese involvement in their administration other than investments in some projects, said the Tamil diaspora.

Adani Ports not to handle container cargo from Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan

Adani Ports issued a trade advisory that effective from November 15, Adani Ports will not EXIM (export-import) containerised cargo originating from these countries. The trade advisory will apply to all the terminals operated by APSEZ, including third party terminals at any APSEZ port until further notice.
