Longest twin-tunnel on Mumbai-Nagpur expressway to be ready by Sep
The third breakthrough on the right hand side tunnel was completed on Tuesday - three months ahead of schedule - by teams of Afcons Infrastructure Ltd on the Package 14 of the Greenfield project of Mumbai-Nagpur Super Communication Expressway. The construction company, Afcons is hopeful of completing both the tunnels by September-end, officials said here on Tuesday.

In a security advisory, the MEA said that as violence in Afghanistan is getting escalated, commercial air services to many provinces are getting discontinued. Indian companies operating out of Afghanistan are strongly advised to withdraw their Indian employees out of project sites before air travel gets discontinued, the ministry said.

The index revealed that the condition of young people improved around the world by 3.1 per cent between 2010 and 2018, but progress remained slow. The Commonwealth Secretariat released its triennial rankings of youth development in 181 countries, with 156 of them recording at least slight improvements in their scores.

Ramana and comprising Justices Vineet Sarana and Surya Kant told the senior advocates representing various petitioners, "Have some faith in the system, parallel proceedings or parallel debate should not be there on Twitter or social media." The bench emphasised that petitioners must have faith in the system and process of adjudication by the court.
India reports 28,204 new Covid cases, lowest in 147 days
With 373 deaths reported in the same span of time, the death toll has climbed to 4,88,682, said the Covid bulletin released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. India has achieved the highest recovery rate ever, which currently stands at 97.45 per cent. Additionally, the active caseload has registered a substantial decline of 13,680 and currently stands at 3,88,508, which is the lowest in the last 139 days.

"A large number of devotees expressed their desire to see the ongoing construction work at the Ram temple site. Considering their request, the trust has decided to allow devotees to see the ongoing work of the temple," said Champat Rai, general secretary, Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
