Woman files rape complaint against LJP MP Prince Raj in Delhi
According to sources, the woman submitted a three page complaint at Connaught Place police station here on Tuesday night against Prince Raj, accusing him of raping her after sedating drink. Police sources said that a case has not been registered as of now. "The police is verifying the allegations against the Lok Sabha MP and after the outcome a case will be registered," the source said.
Mayawati lashes out at SP, accuses it of planting stories in media
A day after her rebel legislators met Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) president Mayawati mounted a blistering attack on SP. She blamed the 'divisive and hatred-filled forces' of planting stories in the media about the BSP legislators defecting to other parties. In a series of tweets, she termed the reports as a 'mirage' of sorts. She said, "These MLAs have already been suspended when they were prompted to defeat a Dalit candidate at the behest of SP and a corporate entity.

Mithun Chakraborty questioned by Kolkata Police over 'inciteful speech'
A complaint filed in Maniktala police station against him, has accused the actor of inciting post-poll violence in West Bengal through his speeches. Chakraborty moved the Calcutta High Court for quashing the case against him. But the court asked him to appear for questioning through video conferencing. The complaint also mentioned that these dialogues were enough to incite violence.
IT Minister blasts Twitter, says it failed to comply with new guidelines
In a series of tweets, the minister came down hard on the platform over its reluctance to comply with the new norms. "There are numerous queries arising as to whether Twitter is entitled to safe harbour provision. However, the simple fact of the matter is that Twitter has failed to comply with the Intermediary Guidelines that came into effect from the 26th of May," Prasad said.
Bharat Biotech supplies Covaxin to 16 states
Company's co-founder and joint managing director Suchitra Ella on Wednesday tweeted that Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Telangana were supplied the vaccines through government of India from June 8 to 14. The Hyderabad-based vaccine maker also made supplies to 16 states during the same period.
