Apple Pay may finally work on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox in iOS 16
MacRumors contributor Steve Moser found that Apple Pay works with Edge and Chrome in the iOS 16 beta 4, and shared his findings on microbloging platform Twitter, reports The Verge. Moser's screenshots show a "Continue with Apple Pay" option on Apple's checkout page when using Edge. Apple Pay only works in Safari on iOS 15 and older, preventing you from using any other browser if you want to pay with Apple Pay when shopping on the web.
Google denies shutting down its cloud gaming service Stadia
The company stated after a rumour began circulating earlier this week that suggested it would sunset the platform later this year, reports Engadget. "Stadia is not shutting down," the official Stadia Twitter account told a concerned fan in a tweet spotted by PC Gamer. "Rest assured, we are always working on bringing more great games to the platform and Stadia Pro," it added.

According to Canalys, back in the first place, vivo shipped 13.2 million units, followed closely by HONOR with 13 million units. OPPO (including OnePlus) stayed in the top three, shipping 11.8 million units. "HONOR and Apple achieved the best year-on-year growth among the top vendors. Twitter may soon allow posting images, videos in one tweet
The company confirmed the test and said it is available to some users for a limited time, adding that accounts can add tags to both photos and videos in the tweet, reports TechCrunch. "We are testing a new feature with select accounts for a limited time that will allow people to mix up to four media assets into a single tweet, regardless of format," the microblogging site was quoted as saying in a statement.
Instagram begins asking some users about their race, ethnicity
The company said if they do not know people's race or ethnicity, they will be limited in assessing how their products impact different communities. "To better understand different experiences people may have on Instagram, we need to collect and measure demographic information, like race and ethnicity," the Instagram Company said in a blogpost.
Meta withdraws plan over new privacy policy update
The decision came as the Personal Information Protection Commission has been looking into whether the upcoming privacy policy update by Meta runs afoul of domestic law, citing government official, reports Yonhap. The company has, since late May, sent out notifications to South Korean users of Facebook and another Meta-owned platform Instagram, demanding consent on new terms and conditions of its updated privacy policy set to go into effect on August 9.
