Google adds new Workspace tools for larger Android screens
The company is going to make Google Workspace apps even better on Android's larger screens with updates to Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Keep. "At I/O, we shared plans to update more than 20 Google apps on tablets to take full advantage of the extra space on those bigger screens," Scott Blanksteen Senior Director, Product Management, Android said in a blog post.

Flipkart, Pocket FM join hands to bring audiobook library
The collaboration would help Flipkart enter the audiobooks category with exclusive and licensed audiobooks through Pocket FM, making it accessible to its customer base of over 400 million. Users began receiving a notification about the impending shutdown last week, advising them to download their data before September 19, when the app will cease to work, reports TechCrunch. Tuned was a project under Meta's New Product Experimentation (NPE) Team, which was initially formed to build consumer-facing apps that would allow Meta to test out new features and gauge people's reactions.

After studying at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Woo-pyeong worked for Texas Instruments and Qualcomm before working for Apple for about nine years in 2014.
Huawei's sub-brand Honor pulls out India team amid probes, raids
According to South China Morning Post, the company's business in India will remain in operation, managed by local partners, but the brand will adopt a "very safe approach."Honor CEO Zhao Ming told state-run newspaper Securities Times that, Honor formed the India team a few years ago but chose to leave for "obvious reasons".The development came as Indian authorities like the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) have conducted raids and investigations of major Chinese smartphone players like Vivo, OPPO and Xiaomi.
