According to The Verge, the report, which included researchers from the University of Washington concluded that Amazon and third parties (including advertising and tracking services) collect data from interactions with Alexa through Echo smart speakers and share it with as many as 41 advertising partners.
Elon Musk discussed 'job cuts' at Twitter with bankers

The Washington Post reported that Musk discussed making "efficiencies" at the micro-blogging platform in the conversations with bankers, "which could include job cuts." Twitter or its CEO Parag Agrawal have not commented on the reports. Agrawal had told employees that there would be "no layoffs at this time".

Apple is now assembling iPhone 13 in Brazil

According to 9to5Mac, a user recently bought an iPhone 13 in Brazil and, to his surprise, the box indicates that the product was "Assembled in Brazil". The model number, MLPF3BR/A, confirms that the device was indeed assembled in the country, as the units sold in Brazil that are imported from China have the identifier "BZ/A" instead. However, for some unknown reason, it seems that only the 6.1-inch iPhone 13 is being assembled at Foxconn Brazil, located in Jundiai, Sao Paulo.
Meta says experiencing good ad impression growth in India

You can now ask Google to remove personal info from Search results

Google Search currently allows people to request the removal of certain content, with a focus on sensitive content that can cause direct harm to them. "Under the policy expansion, people can now request removals of additional types of information when they find it in Search results, including personal contact information like a phone number, email address, or physical address," Michelle Chang, Global Policy Lead for Search at Google, said in a statement late on Wednesday.
WhatsApp giving cashback for making digital payments in India

The company is giving away Rs 11 cashback up to three times by sending money to three different contacts via unified payments interface (UPI) on WhatsApp. "We are running a campaign offering cashback incentives in a phased manner to our users as a way to unlock the potential of payments on WhatsApp," a company spokesperson told IANS.
