A fire broke out at a power generation and water desalination facility in Kuwait following an Iranian attack, the country's Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy said on Saturday, adding that several power generation units had been shut down.
The ministry said efforts were underway to extinguish the blaze and restore the affected infrastructure.
Iran's Revolutionary Guards said they had struck a site housing US combat aircraft at the Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain, according to Iran's Tasnim News Agency.
Jordan's armed forces also intercepted 10 Iranian missiles on Saturday morning, Jordanian media reported.
Iran further claimed that two oil tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz struck mines and exploded, an assertion disputed by the US military.
Air raid sirens sounded in Bahrain as Iran and the United States continued exchanging strikes across the Middle East for nearly a week. Tehran also announced that it had targeted US military facilities in Jordan, Kuwait and Bahrain in a fresh round of retaliatory attacks, hours after US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed it had carried out its seventh consecutive night of strikes.
As military operations intensified across the region, Iran said three people had been killed in US attacks.
The Revolutionary Guards stated on Saturday that two oil tankers, which they alleged were being directed by "deceptive American intelligence agencies", exploded after hitting mines in the Strait of Hormuz. The US military swiftly rejected the claim.
Iran's Revolutionary Guards also told state television that they had "stopped" four vessels attempting to pass through the strategically important waterway.
Meanwhile, US Central Command said American forces continued striking Iranian targets in operations intended to "continue degrading Iranian military capabilities," according to a statement posted on X.
