PM Modi named for 1st Lata D. Mangeshkar memorial award
The new award shall be given to Modi at a function to be jointly organised by the late Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Smruti Pratisthan, Pune and Hridayesh Arts. The announcement of the new award and other awardees was made by Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar here, to be given away on April 24, the 80th death anniversary of his father, Master Deenanath Mangeshkar, at the event to be presided over by Usha Mangeshkar.

India successfully flight-tests anti-tank guided missile Helina
The flight-test was jointly conducted by team of scientists of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the Indian Army, and the Indian Air Force, as part of the user validation trials. The flight trials were conducted from an Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) and the missile was fired successfully engaging simulated tank target.
ED attaches properties of gang involved in revival of LTTE
An ED official said that on March 18, 2021, the Indian Coast Guard had intercepted one Sri Lankan fishing boat named ‘Ravihansi' from near the Minicoy Island, Lakshadweep, within the territorial waters of India. On searching the boat, a large cache of heroin (300 kg) along with five assault rifles and 1,000 9 mm ammunition were found.

A total of 929 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients since the beginning of the pandemic is now at 4,25,03,383 Consequently, India's recovery rate stands at 98.76 per cent.
