Modi discusses Ukraine situation with Netherlands PM Mark Rutte
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken to his Netherlands counterpart Mark Rutte and discussed the ongoing situation in the war-torn country of Ukraine, the Ministry of External Affairs said here on Wednesday. The two leaders discussed the ongoing situation in Ukraine and shared their concerns over the continuing humanitarian situation there.
All Indian students stuck in Sumy evacuated, says Govt
All Indian students who were stuck in Sumy area of war-torn Ukraine have been successfully airlifted through Operation Ganga, the government said on Monday. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said that they had apprehensions but their mission to evacuate Indian students was successful.
India to allow scheduled international flight ops from March 27
India will allow resumption of scheduled commercial international passenger services from March 27. "After having recognised the increased vaccination coverage across the globe and in consultation with the stakeholders, the Government of India has decided to resume scheduled commercial international passenger services to or from India from March 27, 2022," an official communique said on Tuesday.
Operation Ganga: 75 special flights bring back 15,521 Indians
The Centre had initiated an airlift operation to evacuate Indians, who have found their way to neighbouring countries of war-torn Ukraine. It had deployed a number of special charter as well as Indian Air Force flights to ferry back the citizens. On Tuesday, 410 Indians were airlifted by two special civilian flights from Suceava, Romania.
India, China militaries to hold 15th round of border talks on March 11
India and China are set for the 15th round of Corps Commander level talks later this week to resolve the border dispute, sources in the defence ministry said on Tuesday. Source said: "India and China have mutually decided to hold the 15th round of Corps Commander level talks at the Indian side of Chushul Moldo Meeting Point on March 11, 2022. Fourteen rounds of talks till now have resulted in the resolution of the North and South Bank of Pangong Tso, Galwan and Gogra Hot Spring areas.

BJP likely to win 23 to 27 seats in Manipur: ABP-C-Voter Exit Poll
The BJP is likely to capture 23 to 27 seats in the 60-member Manipur Assembly while Congress may win 12 to 16 seats, according to the ABP-C-Voter Exit Poll. The ruling BJP's two estranged allies -- National People's Party (NPP) and Naga People's Front (NPF), who fought the elections separately, are likely to bag 10 to 14 and 3 to 7, respectively. The sample size was 5,269, and the projection comes with a 95 per cent Confidence interval.
Congress likely to form government in Uttarakhand
The ABP C-Voter Exit Poll indicates that the Congress is likely to form the next government in Uttarakhand. According to the Exit Poll, Congress is likely to win 35 seats in the 70-member Uttarakhand Assembly, while the ruling BJP is projected to win 29 seats in Uttarakhand. The Congress is falling short of the halfway mark of 36 by just one seat. Debutant Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is likely to win one seat.
