Indian Navy unveils world's largest national flag in Mumbai

The Indian Tricolour made of khadi, measures 225 in length and 150 feet wide, weighing a staggering 1.40 tonnes (around 1,400 kg). It was designed and manufactured by the Khadi and Village Industries Commission as part of the 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence.

The DMRC has to follow various environmental provisions under the National Environment Policy, the Central Water Commission, Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act etc. No environment clearance was obtained by DMRC for the Phase-III project although it had constructed four metro car maintenance depots each having a built-up area of more than 20,000 sqm.
At 8,603, India sees dip in Covid cases in a day

Consequently, India's recovery rate stands at 98.35 per cent, highest since March 2020. India's Active caseload presently stands at 99,974. Active cases constitute 0.29 per cent of the country's total Positive Cases, which is lowest since March 2020.

With this, the number of passengers testing positive after their arrival in Hyderabad has gone up to 13. According to the Director of Public Health, G. Srinivasa Rao, out of the 219 passengers who arrived here on Friday, nine tested positive. He, however, did not disclose the details of the countries they came from. Earlier, a 35-year-old woman, who arrived here from the UK on December 1, had tested positive. Three more had tested positive the next day.
