Covid: Government revises guidelines for international arrivals
The Health Ministry, in a statement, said: "The existing guidelines have been revised in view of reporting of a new variant of SARS-CoV-2 (B.1.1.529; named Omicron) which has been now classified as VOC by the WHO." The RT-PCR test report should not be more than 72 hours old, added the statement.

CM Arvind Kejriwal writes to PM Modi to stop flight in view of new Covid variant
In the letter to PM Modi, Kejriwal urged to stop flights from the region where these new variants have been detected, from immediate effect. "Our country has fought a tough fight against Corona for the last one-and-a-half year. We should do everything possible to prevent the new variant of concern from entering India," Arvind Kejriwal said in the letter.
