Delhi's LNJP hospital designated to treat Omicron patients
The hospital has been asked to earmark wards for isolating and treating such patients. In an order, the Health Department has directed the hospital not to deny admission to patients infected with the new variant on any ground. As per the guidelines, a separate isolation unit has to be set up for the patients indicating the presence of Omicron.

South African returnee tests Covid positive in Chandigar

Pakistan Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry and members of the Sikh community expressed annoyance over the fashion photoshoot at the Kartarpur shrine, Pakistan Observer reported. Chaudhry slammed the designer and the model for the photoshoot. The members are -- Syed Naseer Hussain, Akhilesh Prasad Singh, Phulo Devi Netam, Chhaya Verma, Ripun Bora and Rajmani Patel of the Congress; Priyanka Chaturvedi, Anil Desai of the Shiv Sena; Elamaram Kareem of the CPI-M, Binoy Viswam of the CPI, Dola Sen and Shanta Chhetri of the Trinamool.
