Farmers have right to protest but none can take law into hands: Delhi Police Commissioner
"The farmers' agitation has been going on for a long time. Since I have joined [as Commissioner], farmers have been allowed to protest at Jantar Mantar. The farmers have democratic right to protest but no one can be allowed to take law into their hands," the Commissioner said during an event at the Indian Women's Press Corps (IWPC) here.

A bench comprising justices KM Joseph and S. Ravindra Bhat said: "Merely because the purpose of the acquisition is found to be a public purpose, the duty of the authority does not end." It further added: "He must be satisfied that there is real agency such that the invaluable right vouchsafed to a person to ventilate his grievances against the acquisition is not unjustifiably extinguished.

"We have received an Email from ISIS-Kashmir on the official ID of MP Gautam Gambhir on November 23 at 9.32 p.m.," read the complaint filed by Gambhir's PS. The mail, accessed by IANS, read: "We are going to kill you and your family." Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Shweta Chauhan said that an investigation into the matter is underway and the security arrangement outside the Delhi MP's residence has been tightened.

'Farm Laws Repeal Bill, 2021' cleared by cabinet
The Bill will be introduced to repeal the Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020; the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance, Farm Services Act, 2020, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020. The Lok Sabha Bulletin on Tuesday had already listed 'The Farm Laws Repeal Bill, 2021'.

Industrial corridors to flank Ayodhya
The industry hub, spread over 100 acres, will form part of Ayodhya Master Plan-2031 that is being prepared by the ADA. According to ADA Vice Chairman Vishal Singh, the master plan is expected to be finalised next month and will be sent for state government's approval. Unlike other development projects, the ADA will not acquire land from farmers.
India logs 9,283 fresh Covid-19 cases, 437 deaths in last 24 hours.
The new fatalities increased the overall death toll to 4,66,584. The recovery of 10,949 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 3,39,57,698. Consequently, India's recovery rate stands at 98.33 per cent, highest since March 2020. The active caseload stands at 1,11,481. Active cases presently constitute 0.32 per cent of the country's total positive cases, the lowest since March 2020.
