A clear majority wants legally guaranteed MSP : Survey
More than 61 per cent of the respondents seemed to agree with the demand for legally guaranteed MSP, with just 21 per cent opposed to it. Expectedly, a higher share of opposition voters supported this demand than NDA voters. But more than 54 per cent of NDA supporters agreed with the demand. Respondents were then asked a related question if they would agree with a similar demand made by other farmers for legally guaranteed MSP on food items like milk, fruits, vegetables, eggs, chicken and the like.
Will bring lakh farmers to Delhi in support of reforms: SC panel member

Delhi's air quality improves to 'poor'

India logs 7,579 new Covid cases, lowest in 543 days

Ban on construction activity lifted in Delhi
Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai said due to the improvement in the air quality, and considering the difficulties faced by the workers after the ban on the construction work, the ban has been lifted. He, however, said that strict monitoring will continue by 585 teams, and immediate action will be taken against violators of the 14-point anti-dust pollution measures.

Delhi logs 26 new Covid cases, no death in 6 days
On Sunday, Delhi recorded 29 cases with a positivity rate of 0.06 per cent. However, no Covid death has been reported in the last six days in Delhi. The city's death toll stands at 25,095. The death rate stands at 1.74 per cent in the city. The Covid infection rate in the national capital continues to stand at 0.06 per cent. The active case in the city has come down to 297 as per the latest health bulletin.
No respite from dengue as Delhi logs over 1,800 cases in one week
Apart from dengue, the national capital has also logged 167 cases of malaria and 89 cases of chikungunya, so far, this year. In 2020, Delhi saw a total of 1,072 dengue cases, while 2,036 were recorded in 2019, 2,798 in 2018, 4,726 in 2017 and 4,431 in 2016. However, there has been a dip this year in the number of malaria and chikungunya cases as the national capital had logged 7,760 cases in 2016 and 713 in 2019 respectively.
