Over 49 cr vaccine doses given to states, 3 cr still unutilised: Centre

It said that over 3 crore (3,00,58,190) unutilised Covid vaccine doses are still available with the states and Union Territories and private hospitals to be administered.
Indian Army, Chinese PLA set up hotline to enhance mutual trust

Delhi saw 141% above normal rainfall in July

The normal rainfall during July is 210.6 mm at Safdarjung Observatory. There were three days (in meteorological parlance, 24-hour duration from 8.30 a.m. on day one to 8.30 a.m. the next day) that witnessed heavy rainfall, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday. The three days were July 18-19, 26-27 and 29-30.

BSF detects landmine along LoC in J&K's Poonch

BSF sources said a team of BSF along with specially trained sniffer dog 'Juliet' was on area domination patrol near the LoC when the sniffer dog sat over a piece of land, which created suspicion about the presence of explosive material at the site in the Mendhar area of Poonch district. Babul Supriyo announces to quit politics

In a Facebook post in Bengali, the singer-turned-politician clarified that he is neither joining any other party, nor has he been contacted by any political party, adding that he has always been a "one team player".
