Over 48K Covid cases, 1,183 deaths in 24 hours in India

The total caseload rose to 3,01,83,143 cases as India crossed the mark of over three crore Covid cases on Wednesday. This is the ninth consecutive day in the last two months when the death toll has been below the 2,000-mark. India has become the second country after the US to record more than three crore cases of Covid. India added one crore cases in the last 50 days.
US pull out from Afghanistan may push some militants into Kashmir: Indian Army

3 stations on Delhi Metro's Yellow Line shut on Saturday

DMRC officials said the decision to keep these three metro stations shut for this duration was taken "due to security reasons" but did not elaborate. "As advised by Delhi Police, in view of security reasons, three Metro stations of Yellow Line namely, Vishwavidyalaya, Civil Lines and Vidhan Sabha will remain closed for public from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. tomorrow i.e, 26.06.2021 (Saturday)," DMRC wrote in its official Twitter site.
Delhi reports 115 new Covid cases, 4 deaths

With four more deaths reported in the last 24 hours, Delhi's total deaths due to Covid rose to 24,952. During the same time period, 198 people recovered from the disease, taking the national capital's total recoveries to 14,06,958. Delhi, presently, has 1,680 active cases, of which 503 are under home isolation.
