Amarnath shrine board organises 'Pratham Pooja' at holy cave
Nitishwar Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, performed Pratham Pooja on Jyeshtha Purnima at the cave, amid chanting of Vedic mantras to invoke the blessings of Lord Amarnath. A 'Hawan' was also performed. Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board has been organising Pratham Pooja on Jyeshtha Purnima every year to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva for the peaceful conduct of the annual Yatra.
Cong puts forth 5 demands, including full statehood for J&K
Former J&K Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad speaking to reporters at his residence said, "We have made five demands including grant of full statehood, conduct of assembly elections to restore democracy, release of political prisoners and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits and domicile rules." He said that Home Minister Amit Shah said that the government is committed to statehood. Most of the leaders demanded restoration of statehood.
Delhi Police issue challan to Robert Vadra's vehicle
According to a senior Delhi Police officer, a challan was issued on Vadra's car after it was hit from behind on the Barapullah flyover in south-east Delhi, apparently after sudden application of break. The officer said that Vadra was going to his office on Wednesday morning while his security personnel were accompanying him in another vehicle.
Mehbooba Mufti demands restoration of Article 370, statehood
Coming out of the all-party meeting called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she said that she had told the Prime Minister that Article 370 was abrogated unconstitutionally and without taking the local government into confidence. "It was done illegally. It was a 70-year-old BJP agenda and they fulfilled it," she said.

Mamata now writes to PM to get Covaxin authenticated by WHO

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also left to attend the meeting which will begin at 3 p.m. Earlier in the day, Shah had briefed Modi about the security situation in the Valley.

However, there is no specific agenda for the meeting that started at PM's 7 Lok Kalyan Marg residence at 3 p.m. Leaders participating in the first such meet initiated by the Central government earlier said, "agenda is very clear about restoration of statehood".
