According to sources, the meeting of Pawar and Kishor lasted for over an hour. The frequent Kishor-Pawar meetings have been fuelling speculations on the creation of a third front to combat the BJP. Earlier Kishor, whose latest success has been the victory of the Trinamool Congress in the recently-concluded West Bengal Assembly polls, had met Pawar at his Mumbai residence on June 11 and once again on Monday in Delhi at the NCP leader's residence.
Ramdev moves SC against multiple FIRs over allopathy comments

In the plea, Ramdev sought transfer of FIRs lodged against by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) in Patna and Raipur to Delhi. He has been booked under Sections 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 269 (negligent act likely to aa infection of disease dangerous to life), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) of the IPC and other provisions of Disaster Management Act, 2005.
ED attaches assets worth Rs 81 cr, including chopper in Unitech case

An ED official said that the financial probe agency has attached assets of the Shivalik Group situated in Santacruz, Mumbai. He said that the helicopter is owned by King Rotors Air Charters Pvt Ltd, an associate company of Shivalik Group. The official said that the money laundering probe revealed that the Unitech Group had diverted proceeds of crime to the tune of Rs 574 crore to Shivalik Group.

Rahul Gandhi to appear in Surat court on Thursday

ED summons 3 fashion designers to explain cash payments

An ED source related to the probe told IANS, "A notice has been sent to the three fashion designers to appear before the ED." The source said that the three designers were paid in cash by the politician for designing the dresses for a wedding ceremony a few years back. "And there was no record of the cash transaction in their IT returns. So they have been called to present their side," the source said.
64% vaccination in rural India on June 21: VK Paul

Out of the total vaccine doses administered on the day, 56.09 lakh vaccines were given from rural vaccination centres, while the urban areas recorded vaccination of 31.9 lakh people. V.K. Fresh standoff between Delhi and Centre over doorstep ration scheme

The Centre's Food and Civil Supplies Department in a letter to the Delhi government has pointed out four issues which need to be followed under the proposed door-step ration delivery scheme in the national capital and also to protect the National Food Security Act (NFSA) in the future as well. The department in the letter has pointed on challenges observed in contravention of statutory provisions of NFSA.
