NIA files charge sheet against 7 terrorists
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a charge sheet against seven terrorists of the Tehreek-Ul-Mujahideen (TuM) who were party to a conspiracy by its Pakistan-based handlers and their terror associates based in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch and Kuwait to execute terrorist activities and wage war against the country.
Fuel prices remain unchanged on Friday
The price of petrol and diesel were raised on Thursday, the 12th increase so far in the month of June. With fuel prices remaining unchanged on Friday, petrol continued to cost Rs 97.76 per litre and diesel Rs 88.30 per litre in Delhi. Across the country as well, the petrol and diesel prices remained static on Friday but its actual retail prices varied depending on the level of local levies in respective states.

Maharashtra: Covid tally crosses 60L, 4th in global ranking
As on Thursday, Maharasthra has reported a total of 60,07,431 Covid cases, higher than France which has recorded a tally of 57,62,322 till date, and figures at No. 4 in the world behind the US, India and Brazil. Compared to 508 deaths declared on Wednesday, the state reported 556 fatalities on Thursday, including 197 new deaths and 359 earlier casualties, taking the state's overall Covid death toll to 119,859, the worst in the country.
India reports over 51K new Covid cases
India crossed the mark of over three crore Covid cases on Wednesday. This is the eighth consecutive day in the last two months when the toll has been below the 2,000-mark.The overall tally of Covid-19 cases in the country now stands at 3,01,34,445. India has become the second country after the US to record more than three crore cases of Covid. India added one crore cases in the last 50 days.

Delimitation, roadmap for Assembly polls, restoration of statehood and bringing back Kashmiri Pandits were the key issues discussed in the crucial all-party meeting on Jammu and Kashmir that was chaired by Prime Minister Modi and involved leaders from different political parties in J&K. The meeting lasted for more than three-and-a-half hours with nobody raising cross-border issues, sources said.

Special Cell detains 4 from Kargil in Israel Embassy blast case
According to Delhi Police, the Special Cell in a joint operation with a central intelligence agency and the Kargil Police has detained four persons from Kargil in connection with the conspiracy to plan and execute terror activities in the national capital. The four persons detained have been identified as Nazir Hussain, 26, Zulfikar Ali Wazir, 25, Aiaz Hussain, 28, and Muzammil Hussain, 25, all residents of Kargil in Ladakh.
