ODOP products record RS 1000 crore sale on Flipkart

Flipkart, India's homegrown e-commerce marketplace, in partnership with the UP Government's ODOP project, has promoted indigenous and specialized products and crafts in UP on its marketplace. According to a government spokesman, leather products from Agra, sports goods from Meerut and locks from Aligarh have been the top trending ODOP products on the platform.

Delhi's air quality may deteriorate post Diwali

In its outlook for the subsequent five days, the Air Quality Early Warning System for Delhi, that comes under the Ministry, said that the air quality is likely to deteriorate on November 5 and 6 significantly and may reach the upper end of the "very poor" category. PM2.5 to be the predominant pollutant. Delhi's air quality on Monday morning was pegged at the "very poor" category with its AQI settling at 302 and by evening, it increased to 306.
India's first ever airborne drill in Ladakh in harsh weather conditions

Sources said Shatrujeet Brigade of the Indian Army conducted an airborne insertion along the Northern Borders in Eastern Ladakh to validate its rapid response capabilities, as part of an airborne exercise and combat manoeuvres. "Airborne troops were inserted to a Drop Zone at an altitude of more than 14 000 feet," a government source said.
