In the report, released in line with the requirements of India's Intermediary Guidelines, 2021, WhatsApp said that user reports received by the platform via the grievance channels are evaluated and responded to. "Our top focus is preventing accounts from sending harmful or unwanted messages at scale. We maintain advanced capabilities to identify these accounts sending a high or abnormal rate of messages," the company said.

Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) has released the updated Drone Rules, 2021 for public consultation, which are built on a premise of trust, self-certification, and non-intrusive monitoring. The Drone Rules, 2021 will replace the UAS Rules 2021 released on March 12, 2021. The last date for receipt of public comments is August 5, 2021.

Indian fugitive businessman Mehul Choksi, who is wanted in Rs 13,500 crore Punjab National Bank (PNB) fraud case has returned to Antigua and Barbuda from Dominica, two days after being granted bail on medical grounds. Choksi's lawyer Vijay Aggarwal told IANS: "My client Choksi has returned to his home in Antigua safely. He faced no issues while entering back in Antigua."
Suvendu Adhikari asks SC to transfer Mamata's poll plea outside Bengal
BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari on Wednesday moved the Supreme Court seeking transfer of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's petition against his election from Nandigram constituency outside the state. He is a former close aide of Banerjee but having joined the BJP in 2020, is currently the Leader of Opposition in the Assembly. He had defeated Banerjee in a closely-contested election by a margin of 1,956 votes.
