2 soldiers, 2 terrorists killed as infiltration bid foiled in J&K

"Based on information regarding infiltration and movement of terrorists in the area of Dadal, Sundarbani Sector, district Rajouri, the army had launched extensive search operations with effect from June 29. "In the operation, Naib Subedar Sreejith M. and Sepoy Maruprolu Jaswanth Reddy received fatal injuries. A detailed search of the area continues," the army statement said.

A bench of Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Dinesh Maheshwari and Hrishikesh Roy said: "No governance model requiring such collaboration can work if either of the two sides take a 'my way or the highway' approach - which both seem to have adopted." It emphasised that for the process to work well, the Centre and the Delhi government will "have to walk hand-in-hand or at least, walk side-by-side for better governance".

India's cumulative vaccination coverage exceeded 36.48 crore as per the provisional report till 7 a.m. Thursday. A total of 36,48,47,549 vaccine doses were administered through 47,40,833 sessions. And, 33,81,671 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours, according to the report. The new phase of universalization of Covid-19 vaccination commenced from June 21.
