PM Modi to inaugurate Purvanchal Expressway on Nov 16
Built at a cost of Rs 42,000 crore, the Expressway starts from Chand Sarai village in Lucknow. It will pass through Lucknow, Barabanki, Amethi, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh, Mau and Ghazipur. UP CM Yogi Adityanath had launched the construction of the six-lane Purvanchal Expressway from Lucknow to Ghazipur via Azamgarh.

The order was given by vacation judge Justice M.J. Jamdar in an urgent filed plea by the ED on Sunday, challenging the Special Court Judge P.R. Sitre's ruling on Saturday, declining the agency's plea for extending Deshmukh's custody by nine more days.

At 10,853, India sees marginal decline in new Covid cases
On Saturday, the country recorded 10,929 new Covid-19 cases. With the addition of new deaths, the toll on Sunday reached 4,60,791. The recovery of 12,432 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 3,37,49,900. Consequently, India's recovery rate stands at 98.24 per cent, highest since March 2020.
